I’d like you all to meet my little brother Kevin.   Yes, he’s 25 and not so little anymore, but he’s always going to be my little brother to me.   He recently got engaged to his long-time girl friend, Courtney, and I couldn’t be happier for him!  A few weeks ago, they came to visit me, so we scheduled a fun little photo shoot in downtown Apex, NC.  As always, I had a fabulous time shooting with my good friend Julia!

So last fall, when I was about 2/3 through my pregnancy, my good friend Julia, asked me to take some pictures of her and her hubby in Durham.  We picked a weekend (I was about 36 weeks pregnant at the time) and lucked out on weather and the fact that my baby girl didn’t come too early! Fortunately, I felt great while I was pregnant, so I was happy to do it.   The goal was to get a couple of pics they could use for their Christmas cards and I’m pretty sure we got a lot more than that!  This had to have been one of my favorite sessions to date.  The weather and sky were gorgeous and we kept finding great spots to take pics.

And I need to give credit to Julia for the title – she has a folder on her facebook page with the same title and I just had to steal it!

I love how their eyes are just glowing in this picture.  The sky was gorgeous and blue and make their eyes glow as they laid in the grass.

One of my all time favorite pictures!  This doorway was amazing!
